Port of Nice - explore more of French Riviera

The port of Nice is the main cruise port in French Riviera.
The first sea trips from Nice port started in 1750. The port was built in 1672 in a small lagoon.
Today you can see plenty of ferries, yachts and boats in the port.

The port plays an important role in the tourist life of French Riviera, bringing visitors from other European ports and serving for transportation means for cargoes. The port is located not far from the old city of Nice, close to main tourist attractions. If you are going to take a walk in Promenade des Anglais you could easily combine it with visiting port.
